Following the upcoming call of the Interreg 2 Seas Programme, the 2 Seas Programme organises an information session for all potential applicants. This information session will take place on Friday 25 February 2019 in Ghent.
Interreg 2 Seas 2014-2020 is a European territorial cooperation programme for the UK, France, the Netherlands and Belgium (Flanders). The programme is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and has a total budget of 241 million euro to support projects for the period 2014-2020. The overall objective is to develop an innovative, knowledge and research based, sustainable and inclusive 2 Seas area, where natural resources are protected and the green economy is promoted. To achieve this, projects directly contributing to one of the Specific Objectives can be co-financed up to 60% of their total budget.
On 1 February, the 8th call for the submission of draft notes for new project proposals will open. These must be submitted before 8 April. All potential applicants can attend the information session on 25 February in the VAC Ghent, located near the NMBS station Gent-Sint-Pieters. In the morning, general information is given about the 2 Seas Programme and attention is paid to the context (including the Brexit) in which the work is being done. After that, the focus will be on the most important elements that you take into account when developing your project application. In the afternoon the completion of the application documents will be discussed.
