Van Caillie (1983, pl. 78)
Description 1910 : De Aartshertoginnestraat, richting Witte Nonnenstraat
Het gebouw links was de Militaire Kazerne en het Militair Hospitaal.
Het werd gesloopt in 1926. (Zie ook foto's nrs. 79, 81, 105 en 181 .)
Het gebouw rechts op de achtergrond was de vroegere stedelijke meisjesschool Louisa Maria. Na de vernieling van het hoofdpostgebouw tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog, moest de school ontruimd worden om er de postdiensten onder te brengen.
