The study aimed at understanding the role of the mangrove ecosystem positioned at the land-sea boundary in the material exchange process between land and sea and at understanding the significance of mangroves as nutrient source to higher trophical levels in the bay and coastal waters:

  1. Understanding the significance of mangroves as nutrient sources to higher tropical level in the bay and coastal waters.
  2. Determination of relative importance of primary producers and C&N flow.
  3. Monthly sampling and analysis.
