DUNEFRONT aims to integrate scientific approaches from engineering, ecology, economics, and social sciences to develop design plans for hybrid Dune-Dike infrastructures to optimize coastal protection and biodiversity conservation at both local and regional scales, by explicitly considering the geographic, climatic and socio-economic boundary conditions.
