On Thursday 21 October (15:00-17:00), the Blue Cluster, Flemish Hydrography (Agentschap Maritieme Dienstverlening & Kust) and the Flanders Marine Institute organise an information session on public and private datasets on the Flemish coast and Belgian coastal waters. The focus is on the current offer and the relevant processes around these datasets.
The info session is a first step to bring together the various data users and to get to know each other's needs and expectations. In this way, we want to form a first picture of the responsibility and role of each company, government or researcher within the data chain.
Afterwards, those who participate will have a better understanding of the processes involved in public and private datasets and products. With this, we want to lay a foundation for joint initiatives or solutions to make multiple data use possible.
Programme
The event is built around a number of fascinating presentations by the Blue Cluster, Otary, Flemish Hydrography and VLIZ. Participants will have ample opportunity to ask questions and engage. At the end, a network reception is also provided.
