An annotated check-list is given of Mysida and Lophogastrida species occurring deeper than 2000 m in the seas bordering Europe. meer

The check-list is based on published data. The check-list includes 35 species. For each species synonymy, data on localities in European seas and general species distribution are provided. Station data are presented separately in the present thematic issue.
