Bottom samples taken in the salt marshes Schor van Ouden Doel and Plaat van Boomke were analysed for its chemical quality and granulometric characteristics. more

This new monitoring campaign was initiated in 2004. Sampling is done by the Zeeschelde division and Maritime Access Division. Analysis of the samples is performed by the Flemish Environmental Agency (VMM). Sediment samples are taken at several locations along the Lower-Zeeschelde: Groot Buitenschoor, Ouden Doel (=Paardenschor), Galgenschoor, Plaat van Boomke, Kruibeke, Notelaar, Kijkverdriet, Branst en Appels.
