Description
This dataset contains informations on species composition and spatial distribution of pelagic snails Thecosomata and Gymnosomata. Samples were collected during following oceanographic cruises: 2010, Antarctica, Drake Passage, r/v Academic Ioffe, Russian Academy of Sciences; 2011, Arctic, Spitsbergen, r/v Oceania, Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Sciences; 2012, East Atlantic, r/v Polarstern. Species identification was done based on morphological features and DNA barcoding (mtDNA COI gene sequencing).
