Description

Toxicity data of ciprofloxacin obtained in test media presented with various DOC compounds performed at Laboratory of Environmental Toxicology and Aquatic Ecology (GhEnToxLab).

Cyanobacteria toxicity test of ciprofloxacin (CIP) to cyanobacteria Microcystis aeruginosa was performed in culture media with various dissolved organic carbon (DOC) concentration levels and light absorption properties.

more

Toxicity data of ciprofloxacin in test media presented with various DOC compounds. It contains water chemistry measurements (pH, DOC concentration, Calcium concentration), cell density measurement and experiment details.

Cyanobacteria toxicity test of CIP to cyanobacteria Microcystis aeruginosa PCC7806 was performed in the presence of DOC. The DOC compounds were collected from different sources, including DOC in naturally occurring state in freshwater, DOC processed with ion-exchange that was collected from freshwater ecosystems, and commercial DOC purchased from International Humic Substances Society. The data recorded were used to estimate the impact of DOC on CIP ecotoxicity.
