Description

This dataset contains the biodiversity observations collected during the deployment of two seabed landers equipped with multiple biotic sensors as part of the MarcoBolo campaign, which took place on 16 May 2025. The two seabed landers were deployed at the Grafton shipwreck in the Belgian part of the North Sea (BPNS).

One lander was equipped with a split-beam echosounder (SIMRAD WBAT) with upward-facing transducers (70 kHz CW and 200 kHz FM), a hydrophone (Soundtrap ST600HF), and an acoustic receiver (VEMCO). The other lander was equipped with a genomic sampler (RoCSI), a cetacean logger (Chelonia F-POD), and an acoustic receiver (VEMCO).

The landers were retrieved on 15 October and 11 June 2025, respectively.

Acoustic detections: Single-beam and multi-beam echosounders
