This research is part of a larger project focused on monitoring the ecological effects of constructing and operating a new wind farm off the coast of the Netherlands, the Ecowende wind farm (Hollandse Kust (west) lot VI). The primary objective of this research is to investigate the drivers of changes in underwater soundscapes in urbanized seas, focusing on distinguishing contributions from environmental factors, animal behaviour, and human activities.
