Abstract
The comparative analysis of the basic quantitative indices of macrozoobenthic communities in relation to level of organic enrichment (Corg) of bottom sediments has been carried out in 22 locations along the Crimean and Caucasian coasts (the Black Sea). The «critical» values of Corg content were revealed, when sharp changes in the conditional indices of benthos are arisen. 5 following threshold ranges of Corg. values were identified (1-6; 6-15; 15-30; 30-45; more than 45 mg Corg/g), which have been indicating the certain stages of macrobenthic succession under strengthening of anthropogenic eutrophication in near shore environments.
