Abstract
    The author redescribes Gypidula typicalis AMSDEN, T.W., 1953[=Pentamerus occidentalis HALL, J., 1858 (non P. occidentalis HALL, J.,1852)], type-species of the genus Gypidula HALL, J., 1867 and gives amore complete diagnosis of the genus.
