Abstract
Four calanoid species found in Darfur, Western Sudan, all belong to previously known Nile Valley elements, but had not been reported from its Western sector. One species is morphologically characterized and given a new name. Another had been found on the East African Plateau and in the Chad basin only. It is now recorded from an intermediate locality as well.
